PROGRESSIVE FIELD
Branding, LED Signage, Animation, Print, Social
In 2008, Progressive became the corporate sponsor of the Cleveland Indians’ baseball complex—previously named Jacob’s Field. This new partnership opened the door for branding opportunities all over the park...
I had the privilege to lead the Progressive branding campaign including messaging for the new LED ribbon boards installed throughout the stadium, scoreboard signage and in-game animations, print collateral such as billboards and game schedules, and snapchat filters.
We also had the opportunity to install 117 storage and charging lockers near section 170 along the corridor between third base and the left-field foul pole. The free lockers are first-come, first-served. Two sizes are available - 45 large ones and 72 smaller units.
The large ones are meant for coats, purses, merchandise and giveaways like bobbleheads that won't fit in a coat, or boxes you'd rather not stash under your seat. Smaller ones have four charging adapters to fit iPhone and Android cell phones.
In addition to rebranding the field at the onset of the new naming rights, I was involved in annual marketing partnership opportunities to extend Progressive branding throughout the stadium between 2015 and 2018.
It was incredible opportunity to push what it means to be a corporate sponsor and to create a truly innovative brand experiences for our fans.
